Welcome

Welcome to the the discipline of chemistry at IIT Gandhinagar (IIT-GN). Established in the year 2009 the discipline has steadily grown in faculty strength, research infrastructure and overall research directions. The discipline is engaged in fundamental and applied research in diverse areas like catalysis, biochemistry, drug discovery, organic photochemistry and computational chemistry.

The academic programs of the discipline include, Ph.D and M.Sc (Masters) in Chemistry, in addition to various interdisciplinary and undergraduate courses. The discipline aims at distinguishing itself as a center of innovative and pioneering research. 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Chemphoria 2019 was conducted on 1st February. A total of 10 PhD students presented their research work in this symposium.
  • Ms. Beena Kumari has received the best poster award at the 4th International Conference on Aggregation-Induced Emission, Flinders University’s city campus, Adelaide, AU, Jan. 20-26, 2019.
